Easy Peppermint Bark:
1 bag of Milk Chocolate melts (I use Hershey brand)
1 bag of White Chocolate melts
1 Cup of Peppermint candy- ground to fine powder
1 tsp of peppermint extract (NOT just mint)
Melt chocolate over double boiler or in microwave in 30 second increments. Increments in the microwave b/c they burn easily.
I start melting white chocolate first. After melted, add Peppermint extract.
Spray a flat pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spread the white chocolate on the pan. Layer with powdered Peppermint candy. Melt the milk chocolate in the same way, spread over the WC and Pepperming layers. Let it cool, then place in refridgerator. After 1 hour, remove- break into pieces. Serve immediately or you can freeze. YUMMY!
