Monster Cookies

‎(WARNING!!!! This recipe makes a TON of cookies, I always cut it in half, because it's a lot otherwise. The family that the recipe comes from had 6 kids, so they always cooked for a lot. Now, it freezes wonderfully, and you can make the cookies and freeze them too. So don't freak out when you read the ingredients, because it's a ton!!)

4 sticks margarine
3 lb peanut butter
2 lb. brown sugar
4 C. white sugar
12 eggs
8 tsp. baking soda
1 T. vanilla
18 C. quick cooking oatmeal
1 (1-lb) bag M&M's
1 (12 oz) bag chocolate chips
1 (12 oz) bag butterscotch chips (optional)

Cream margarine, peanut butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy. In seperate bowl beat eggs; add baking soda and vanilla to egg mixture and beat. Mix into creamed sugar mixture. Stir in M&M's and chocolate chips. Stir in oats, mixing well. Drop by teaspoon full onto greasesd cookie sheets. Bake @ 350* for 11 minutes (I NEVER bake mine this long, I like gooey-er cookies, so I don't let them bake that long.) Enjoy :) These are so addicting.
