1 C butter/margarine (2 sticks) softened
1 C firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 C sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 C oats (quick work the best, but old fashioned will do)
1 C mini choc chips
1. Heat oven 350*
2. beat together butter and both sugars until creamy, add in eggs and vanilla; beat well.
3. in separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt
4. add to sugar mixture; mix well
5. stir in oats and mini choc chips
6. drop rounded tsp full into ungreased cookie sheet.
7. bake 10-12 min, or until golden brown on edges
8. cool 1 min on cookies sheet; remove to wire rack
**if cooled to long on cookie sheet they get stuck**
